Baogang gains $101 mln in Q1, up 222% on yearShanghai-listed Inner Mongolia Baotou Steel Union Co (Baogang), located in Baotou city in North China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, performed strongly during this year's January-March quarter, with its net profit soaring 222% on year to Yuan 637 million ($101 million), according to the company's first-quarter performance report published on April 27. The mill's operating revenue was also higher on year, albeit growing at a more sedate 22% to Yuan 13 billion.
