Anglo American's Jul-Sept iron ore output down 33% YoY
Anglo American’s iron ore output dropped 33% on year to 10.5 million tonnes in the quarter ended September 30, with the reduction largely due to the operation suspension at its Minas-Rio mine in Brazil after the two leaks in its iron ore slurry pipeline were discovered in March, according to the company’s latest quarterly report released on October 23.
