Steel Sector Outperform Goals of Obsolete Capacity Closure

  In 2010, China’s elimination works of backward capacity has been fully completed, which surpasses the previous goals. As per the survey by MIIT, China’s 18 industries involved in, with the backward capacities in steel industry covering 41mln tonnes of iron-smelting, 11.86mln tonnes of steel-making, 25.33mln tonnes of coking, 2.456mln tonnes of ferroalloy, 1.153mln tonnes of calcium carbide, etc
