Mysteel: Plight of Chinese steel mills - goodbye profits, hello losses
Despite the negative profits, steel mills saw losses out of the main business of steel. Data showed 35 of these mills, or 40%, would have reported heavy losses from steel business if the 4.321 bln yuan of investment returns and 3.88 bln yuan in non-business net income had been deducted from the thin profits.
