Hebei to wipe out 15 mln tonnes of crude steel capacity in 2014
China's biggest steel base Hebei province will flex its muscles to wipe out overcapacity in the steel industry in order to clean up the air, targeting a cut of 15 million tonnes in crude steel capacity in 2014, the Hebei Development and Reform Commission (HBDRC) said Tuesday.
